The Role:
Due to expansion and development a need has been created to expand the Company's existing sales division. With an aggressive growth plan, massive sales potential has led the company to expand their existing team and are looking for an experienced field sales engineer / area sales manager with experience in cutting tools, to join them. With an excellent presence in the market, massive sales potential has led to the opening of this appointment. The successful sales manager will be selling their diverse range of quality machine tooling products into predominantly the automotive and aerospace industries. Your sales and earning potential will be vast with a very warm prospect and existing client base. You will be responsible for maximising sales opportunities through a combination of new business and existing accounts that you will inherit as part of your territory in the Aberdeen area. In the main this role is a consultative sell, where your understanding of machining disciplines will be paramount to your success.

My client is a market leader whose vast portfolio of products consist of cutting tools, high precision tools, and related products, predominately for use in milling, threading, turning and drilling. My client is a part of a worldwide renowned group of companies, whose combined turnover is in excess of GBP 200 Million.
Requirements:
We are looking for an individual with the following attributes:
Living in the Aberdeen or the immediate surrounding area.
Field sales experience in Cutting Tools is a prerequisite for this position.
You will be entrepreneurial, hungry, tenacious, and creative with a 'can do' attitude.
Highly skilled in selling at both board and grass roots level.
