Switchboard Operator ~ part time

We are looking for a switchboard operator for one of our clients based in Inverness. The telephone based role requires applicants to have experience in dealing with customer enquiries. Duties include working on a busy switchboard dealing with inbound calls in a polite and professional manner,using PC software to help you route the calls correctly. Please note this role is 15 hours per week over a two day period ,preferably Wednesday and Thursday.Duties also include maintaining the telephone directory, assisting in operating the sales enquiry help desk, assisting in operating the message desk, supporting colleagues in day to day operation, maintaining statistical records. Flexibility required to cover for holidays, absences etc.

Previous experience in customer service within a telephone based environment would be an advantage. Flexibility required to cover for holidays, absences etc.

Excellent communication skills are essential.
