Lineage Advertisement
Lineage vacancies are the most popular form of advertising on Your Job. They are simple to use, with easy publishing online or by email. The vacancy will appear as a text advert, which can include a company logo button. This can link through to either a Corporate Brochure, a list of your live vacancies or to your company contact details.

Your lineage vacancy will appear on the website within 15 minutes of receipt and will be sent out to all matching candidates on the day you place the advert, using our ‘Jobs-by-Email’ service.

You can check the response to your advert using our free ‘Application Manager’ software or simply receive the applications by email.

Lineage advertisements are advertised for one week at a time, but you can choose to have your vacancy live for several weeks.

What type of artwork do I need to provide?

Semi-Display Advertisement
A Semi-Display Advertisement is a cost-effective, highly-prominent branded advert. It will appear in your own corporate colours and will feature your company logo. This logo can help promote your company as it can contain a link through to either a Corporate Brochure, a list of your live vacancies or to your company contact details.

These adverts are not only highlighted in the standard search result listings, but also shown in the 'Featured Jobs' column, doubling the exposure it receives.

Semi-display advertisements are instantly searchable and given high prominence. If several job adverts have an equal match to the jobseeker's search criteria, Semi Displays will be shown above standard Lineage vacancies.

Semi-Display Advertisements can be submitted through a simple online form or by email and will be searchable on the website within 15 minutes. The vacancy will also be sent out to all matching candidates on the day you place the advert, using our 'Jobs-by-Email' service.

A branded template will be created for you before you begin publishing adverts. All you need to do is choose the logo, the colour scheme and the font and we'll do the rest.

You can check the response to your advert using our free 'Application Manager' software or simply receive the applications by email.

Semi-Display Advertisements are advertised for one week at a time, but can be set to run for several weeks.

Display Advertisement
Display adverts are the ultimate in vacancy advertising and are customised to expose your brand to a targeted audience. The advert itself will be a bespoke design, allowing you to choose the graphics, colour scheme and layout, as well as providing an introduction to your company along with the job description.

These adverts are not only highlighted in the standard search result listings, but also shown in the 'Featured Jobs' column, doubling the exposure it receives. Display adverts also have the added benefit of extended exposure and are placed on site for five weeks.

We also send your vacancy out to all matching candidates, using our ‘Job-by-Email’ service.

Unlike other adverts on Your Job, a Display Advert is placed for 5 vacancy weeks, providing you with extended exposure to our candidates.

You can check the response to your advert using our free ‘Application Manager’ software or simply receive the applications by email.

A Display Advert can also be used to promote other adverts you may have running on Your Job by including a link through to either your Corporate Brochure, a list of your live vacancies or to your company contact details.

Corporate Brochure
A Corporate Brochure on Your Job is an excellent way of promoting your company and building a presence with job hunters. The Brochure can be used to talk about the benefits of working for your company, to explain your market and history and to illustrate your corporate culture.

The Corporate Brochure is promoted in key areas of the website – on a rotating basis on the Your Job homepage, in the A-Z listings of Featured Recruiters and in the personal ‘My Your Job’ pages of candidates who are looking for work in your industry sector(s).

Each Corporate Brochure is bespoke - designed to match your style and branding and can contain links to your own website and to your vacancies on Your Job.

Skillword sponsorship
The vacancy search is the most popular area on Your Job and is an ideal place to promote your company and your vacancies.

Whenever a candidate searches on a word you have sponsored, your company banner will appear in a prominent position above their search results. This will provide you with an advantage over your competitors when trying to reach candidates with particular skill sets or those wishing to work in specific locations.

Each banner contains a link, which can direct the candidates either to your Corporate Brochure, a list of your live vacancies or through to a specific vacancy.

What type of artwork do I need to provide?

Jobs-By-Email sponsorship
Your Job sends out 'Jobs-by-Email' to candidates each night. Emails contain vacancies that match the criteria the candidate is searching on. In addition to the vacancies, there is a sponsorship section at the top of the email, where you can promote your company and vacancies on Your Job.

To ensure your message reaches the right candidates, sponsorship of ‘Jobs-by-Email’ is targeted on a per industry sector basis.

Filtering tools Your Job has to offer
Location Permit Filter
The Location Permit Filter is a free addition to your vacancy advertising on Your Job. It enables you to check the visa status of the candidates as they apply for your vacancy. The filter, which checks their eligibility to work in the location stated in your advert, provides you with functionality that enables you to determine which applications we then send on to you by email.

All applications, regardless of how they answer the question, will still be accessible through your Application Manager in Client Home.

Filtering Forms
If you or your client has a need to ask standard questions of all your applicants as they apply for your positions, this can be done using our Filtering Form(s). Consisting of as many questions as you’d like to ask and including your own company logo, the Filtering Form can be attached to one, many or all of your vacancies on Your Job.

As candidates apply for your positions they are presented with your form and asked to complete as part of the application. All completed forms are automatically accessible through your Application Manager.

It is also possible to set up Key Questions – enabling you to score your applicants based on how they answer selected questions.

CV Database Searching
CV Watchdog
Your Job has one of the UK's fastest growing CV databases - with new CVs being added everyday. With the competition to reach the best candidates first being so fierce, it is essential to sign-up to Your Job's CV Watchdog service, enabling you to receive all the latest relevant CVs to your mailbox each morning.

Simply specify the skills or job titles you are looking for and allow our search engine to find the candidates for you.

Multiple search strings can be set up and run on a daily basis.

CV Online
Your Job has a large CV database, allowing you to be proactive in finding the best candidate for the job. Using an intuitive search form, you can search the CVs themselves or query the questionnaire we conduct at registration. There is a variety of criteria you can search on, including skills, job titles, preferred location and salary.

All matching CVs can be reviewed online in Word format or by using the highlighted CV feature that picks out the words you are searching for. CVs can then be added to your own personal CV Shortlist, which enables you collect together in one place, the best CVs from your search results, providing you with a simple means of comparing and contacting the most suitable candidates. It's also a great way of building a 'hot list' of the best candidates you find on Your Job.

Receiving applications
Application Manager
The Application Manager is an easy-to-use way of managing all your online Your Job applications. At no additional charge, the management system is included in your Client Home area and contains all the CV and Covering Letters that are submitted with applications. If you are also using Filtering Form the results are included with each applicant record.

In addition, you can contact candidates directly through the system, plus make notes and score and rank candidates on the strength of their applications.

By email
By default, all applications to your vacancies will be sent to you by email. Each will contain a CV and covering letter. Depending on your preferred format, the CV will appear in one of the following ways:

• Plain text – the CV will be included as text in the body of the email
• MSWord - the CV will be attached to the email as a Microsoft Word document

If you subscribe to Filtering Forms, receiving applications by email becomes more powerful. You can specify that you only want to receive applications that have a completed Filtering Form attached or where the applicant has answered all the specified Key Questions correctly.

Plain text includes the CV in the body of the email under the covering letter HTML, the CV is attached to the email as an HTML file MSWord, the CV is attached to the email as a Microsoft Word document.

If you subscribe to Filtering Forms, receiving applications by email becomes more powerful as you can set a delivery rule that requires Your Job to only send applications that have a completed Filtering Form attached or to only send applications where the applicant has got all of the specified Key Questions correct.

Candidate Services from Your Job
Jobs-by-Email
Jobs-by-Email is a service available to all Your Job's registered candidates. A candidate will store a search-string in their My Your Job account and an email is sent to them each day containing a list of vacancies relevant to the search-string. The candidate is then able to apply to any of the vacancies by clicking on the vacancy link and being brought to Your Job to complete the application process.

My Your Job
On registering free of charge with Your Job, a candidate receives their own space to set up Jobs-by-Email, upload their CV and covering letter ready for applications, review their applications, access career advice and manage their account.
